Technology support professional Dennis Gomer possesses 32 years of experience in the industry. Having served IBM from 1979 to 1992, Dennis Gomer developed and honed his skills in IT/IS support and creating hardware and software solutions with networking projects for industry verticals. Operating in three offices of IBM, he began as an Automated Equipment Maintenance Technician at the Essex Junction site in Vermont. Dennis Gomer gained experience as an Engineering Lab Specialist until 1986, when he relocated to Indiana and served as Systems Engineer. Recognized for his work, Dennis Gomer received several promotions over the years, advancing to such positions as Account Systems Engineer, Higher Education Industry Specialist, and Advisory Systems Engineer. In 1992, after a successful career with IBM, Dennis Gomer branched out on his own and formed Computer Consulting and Network Design, Inc. (CC&ND). He serves as the company’s President. Specializing in communications and telecommunications technology and solutions, Dennis Gomer often functions in several roles. As the head of an independent consulting firm, Dennis Gomer operates as principal architect and communication systems designer and architect. He also utilizes his technical background to address systems integration and support issues. In 2010, Dennis Gomer completed a two–year program and earned his certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CLSSGB) and Black Belt (CLSSBB). He also received his certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Over the course of his career with IBM and CC&ND, Dennis Gomer developed an expertise with grant proposals, advising clients on all stages of the grant application process. Today, he continues to work with grants and assists local schools in applying for funds. To maximize the schools’ chances of obtaining the money they need, Dennis Gomer helps the institutions submit proposals to numerous organizations with varying objectives and areas of interest.
